Musei Capitolini, Roma
Only in italian. With the complete list of the artworks exposed in these recently restored museums.
Galleria Doria Pamphilij, Roma
A kind of virtual tour with all the rooms of the museums, but only two rooms have links and only two pictures are available (one of those is the famous portrait of Pope Innocenzo X by Velazquez).

A beautiful graphic design, but only few works are showed, with short description and small pictures.
Staatliche Museen, Berlino
Well designed site, with a rigorous "very-german" graphic design. The section of the paintings is in German only. Unfortunately only 8 works are available, but the descriptions are completed with a Bibliography and even a Filmography about the artist.

Beautiful design, updated information, one of the most beautiful websites of Museums I've ever seen, with the possibility to reserve tickets.
Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam
Maybe a littlo too heavy and the use of Java can cause troubles to some browser, but the descriptions of the works are very well done and full of interesting details.

In Spanish and English. Every month they discuss a different artwork.

Huge database of artworks, with detailed information about artworks' history, provenance, exhibition history, bibliography and so on.
